Random pictures to a lesson.

One year, for the last lesson of the school year, a teacher put a bunch of random pictures onto 4 groups desks. The teacher told them to pick out the one picture that reminded them most about learning. The four pictures that the teacher laid on the desks were: a pair of boots, a wall, a signpost, and a pocket watch. The teacher had good and bad answers, but some were outstanding. If I were to choose a picture to symbolize my learning, I would have taken the pocket watch. It symbolizes the amount of time I have needed to use in order to make myself a more skillful person and more prepared for my life to come.

2 year olds on youtube.

All over youtube are videos of childen having temper tantrums, being silly, or just being cute. But think, even though a person put the video on there to show off their child, they made a digital foot print on the internet of that child. Now it may seem harmless to most people, but think of what that digital footprint could do to the child in the future. That child could grow up being harassed by other children throughout it's life because it's parents thought it would be a good idea to show the whole world their cute/funny/agressive baby. Plus that child may never have enough self esteem to go and live on their own in the end because they will be so embarassed by the stupid act the parents did. Now think, would you want that to happen to your child?

What is a wall?

I believe that a wall is a barrier, a structure to keep specific thing either out of in. There are physical wall like the Berlin wall to seperate non-comunist Berlin from comunist Berlin. There is also the Great wall of China that was built to keep the Mongolians out of China. Then there are prison walls, built to keep people from breaking in, and to keep people from breaking out as well. There is even the typical house wall is built for the privacy of your own home and to keep people out of your house. Then there are mental walls. Walls put up by an indivuidual or a group of individuals to keep a certain person, or people out. A single person could put up a wall to let nobody in and not be sociable with other people, and cage themselves in. A group of people could put up a wall around a certain person or a group of people to keep them from entering into another group. All the mental walls can be very unhealthy to the people involved. Finally there are cyber walls. Walls on social networks that can be used to post things about that person. It can be used to recal a certain event, show what is happening in life, or completely embarass another person. People have been fired, beaten up, or straight up embarassed a person just by posting a single thing on their wall. It's not worth putting something bad on the wall when you're only going to hurt yourself.

Cheating

I believe cheating is doing an action in a game or taking a short-cut that benifitts you, and is not permitted by the rules. It also consists of taking information from another person when you are doing a test. I believe that cheating is wrong because that means you don't know how to play the game, or do the test, and it is unfair to the other people involved.

Tech Teacher

If I were the tech teacher, i would use snopes.com as a web tool. The people that set it up dig into a subject and find out if a rumor is true or not. You can find facts about stuff from science, the internet, music, and even to disney. All subjects are either fact, fiction, partly true and partly false, undetirmined, or unclassifiable veracity. This web tool can be very helpful in finding the truth.

Twitter Snafoo

Recently, a man got fined 1000 pounds because he was upset about an airport being closed. He was suppost to make a flight out of the airport and was worried about not being able to make it. So, because of the airport being closed, he said, "Crap! Robin Hood airport is closed. You've got a week and a bit to get your shit together otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!!" The airport took that as a threat and fine the guy because he supposedly "Threatened" the airport security. I believe the guy was just making a joke, and so he shouldn't have been fined. Thats like fining the creators of The Big Bang Theory for making inapropriate jokes that everybody understands and likes. It's major B.S.

Favorite Web Site

My favorite website is Google because of everything i can find on it. I can find music, videos, blogs, essays, articles, sheet music, games, and everything else that you could even think of. And so Google.com is very important.
